Our favorite and most versatile cut, the bone-in and skin-on thigh is packed with flavor, nutrition and perfect for new cooks as well as seasoned gourmands. Great for grilling, braising or pan frying.

Our chickens get plenty of exercise, sunshine and a diverse diet which leads to succulent and flavorful dark meat. Available in 2, or 6 packs. Each bone-in thigh typically weighs between 0.5 and 0.6 lbs.  

Going into our 8th year of raising chickens for meat, we have tried to be keen observers of our flock and demanding consumers of our provisions. We chose our chickens thoughtfully, feed them intentionally and let them ‘act like chickens’ so that you can know you are providing the highest quality of protein to your family while supporting the local economy and healing the land. Our chickens are hatched from a non-GMO flock and fed certified organic food from Michigan’s Raub Rae Farm.
